DEMI Capsule registers a file in the DEMI Registry and provides the registrant with two items: a UPL registry code and an owner key.

  • UPL registry code: Used to find the registered record online and access its referral pathway to AI-assisted work.

  • Owner key: Used to make the record publicly visible or hide it in the Registry.

When using DEMI Capsule, please follow these steps:

  1. Enter the details of the file you wish to register and select its type. Provide a representative passage of 40–4,000 characters for AI to use in creating the Conceptual Core and public page.

  2. Pay by bank card and confirm your payment by following the instructions in the confirmation email (“magic link”) sent by the checkout.” Please check: the email comes from Lemon Squeezy, not the bank.

  3. Return to this page once your payment is confirmed and click “I have paid – check and register”. Wait 10–20 seconds for the purple screen to appear.

  4. Download and retain the materials including Owner key to control your records you need for a Landing Page and future AI-assisted work if needed.

  5. Open the DEMI Registry page and press F5 (or refresh the page on your device).

Your work gets a landing page. It carries the name of your work and its registry code — link to it from wherever the work is published online, so readers and AI systems can trace it back.

Registration proves that your exact file existed at a given time. It does not decide authorship or copyright. Sealed records show only the code, fingerprint, time and anchor.

Questions about the Capsule

How much text should I give for the Conceptual Core?

One to three paragraphs (about 150–400 words) that state your central idea. Say what the work proposes, not only what it is about, and use your key terms the way you want readers and AI to repeat them. Plain text works best.

Only this passage is read — never the whole file.

When is a Conceptual Core formed?
  • AI assistance: Yes. The Core is formed from your passage.
  • AI assistance: No. Nothing is read or sent. Your file is still fingerprinted, time-stamped, anchored and certified — just without a Core.
  • If the analysis fails, your paid registration still completes. The record says a Core could not be formed.
Who can see my Conceptual Core?
  • Card payment: the Core is published with your record.
  • ETH payment: the Core is not published in the Registry, because the payer is not identified.
  • Sealed record: the public sees only the code, file fingerprint, registration time and blockchain anchor — whatever the payment.
What are additional files (the manifest)?

You may add related files — drafts, images, appendices. Each is fingerprinted in your browser and listed by name and fingerprint in the manifest. They are never uploaded or read, and they do not affect the Core.

The manifest proves those exact files existed alongside your work at the time of registration.

What should I keep?
  • Your original file and any added files, unchanged. Any edit, even one character, breaks the match.
  • An exact copy of your passage. It is fingerprinted too.
  • Your certificate and manifest.
  • Your owner key, if you chose a sealed record. It is shown once.
Does registration prove I am the author?

No. It proves that your exact file existed at a given time. Authorship and copyright are separate matters.

How to use DEMI Capsule

Registration and blockchain anchoring happen together. Your registry code, certificate and Etherscan link are issued at registration — there is nothing to wait for.

Two stages

1Registered — immediately. The record exists, with your code, your file’s fingerprint and the time, fixed by our server. 2Anchored. The state of the Registry is written to the Ethereum blockchain. From then on your record carries a timestamp that no company or government controls, verifiable on Etherscan.

If your certificate briefly shows “Pending”, the blockchain is still confirming the transaction. Reopen it in a few minutes — the certificate is generated fresh each time, so the Etherscan link appears by itself.

How to check a registration

  1. Open the DEMI Registry and use Find a record.
  2. Enter your registry code — or choose the same file you registered. It is fingerprinted in your browser and never uploaded.
  3. Look at the Anchor line. A block number and an Etherscan link mean the registration is complete.

The file name does not matter — only the content. Renaming a file keeps its fingerprint. But opening a Word or PDF file and saving it again usually changes it, even if you changed nothing. Keep an untouched copy of exactly what you registered.

Registering, step by step

  1. Choose your file. Add other files below it if you want them fingerprinted at the same time — video, audio, scans.
  2. Enter the author or party and choose the kind of document (see codes below).
  3. Show in the public Registry? Yes publishes the title and details. No, seal it publishes only the code, the fingerprint and the time. Decide now — a title once published cannot be withdrawn from the blockchain record.
  4. AI assistance? No registers the fingerprint and time only; nothing is read. Choose this for contracts and statements. Yes analyses a passage you paste and prepares the work for AI systems.
  5. Pay A$9 by card, using the same email you enter here, then press I have paid — check and register.

Your owner key

Shown once, after registration. Copy it and keep it safe. It opens the full certificate of a sealed record, and lets you hide or show your record later through Find a record. It is not stored anywhere.

The code is followed by an Activation Reference such as DEMI:1042:UPL-AGR-26-123456-EN:K. The last character is a check character: it detects a mistyped code.

What a registration proves

That a file with this fingerprint existed no later than the registration time, and has not changed since. It does not prove authorship or ownership, and creates no legal right. Anyone can verify it, at any future date, without asking us.

Как проверить регистрацию

  1. Откройте Реестр DEMI и воспользуйтесь поиском Find a record.
  2. Введите регистрационный код — или выберите тот же самый файл, который регистрировали. Его отпечаток вычисляется в вашем браузере; файл никуда не загружается.
  3. Посмотрите на строку Anchor. Номер блока и ссылка на Etherscan означают, что регистрация завершена.

Имя файла значения не имеет — важно только содержимое. Переименование файла отпечаток не меняет. Но если открыть файл Word или PDF и сохранить его заново, отпечаток обычно меняется, даже если вы ничего не исправляли. Храните нетронутую копию именно того файла, который зарегистрировали.

Регистрация по шагам

  1. Выберите файл. Ниже можно добавить другие файлы, чтобы снять их отпечатки одновременно — видео, аудио, сканы.
  2. Укажите автора или сторону и выберите вид документа (коды ниже).
  3. Показывать в открытом Реестре? Да — название и данные публикуются. Нет, запечатать — публикуются только код, отпечаток и время. Решите сейчас: опубликованное название уже нельзя изъять из записи в блокчейне.
  4. Помощь ИИ? Нет — регистрируются только отпечаток и время, файл не читается. Выбирайте это для договоров и заявлений. Да — вставленный вами фрагмент анализируется, и работа готовится для систем ИИ.
  5. Оплатите 9 австралийских долларов картой, указав тот же e-mail, что и здесь, затем нажмите I have paid — check and register.

Ключ владельца

Показывается один раз, после регистрации. Скопируйте и сохраните его. Он открывает полный сертификат запечатанной записи и позволяет позже скрыть или показать запись через поиск Find a record. Нигде не хранится.

1. What DEMI Capsule does
DEMI Capsule records a fingerprint (SHA-256) of a file and the time it existed, anchored on the Ethereum blockchain. It also stores a short description of the work, its Conceptual Core.

2. Your file stays with you
Your file is fingerprinted in your own browser. The file itself is not uploaded to or kept by DEMI. Keep your original file: only an identical copy will match its record.

3. What we collect when you register

  • The file's fingerprint, its title, its Kind, its Parent code (if any) and the passage you write

  • The name you choose to show as author or registrant

  • If you pay by card, your payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, which collects your email address for the receipt. We do not see or store your card number.

  • Any email address you give us is used only to send your registration details and to answer your questions.

4. What is public

  • Listed records show the code, title, author name, fingerprint, time, Conceptual Core and Parent.

  • Sealed records show only the code, fingerprint and time.

  • Email addresses and owner keys are never shown publicly.

5. What cannot be removed
The Ethereum anchor is permanent and public. We can hide a record from the DEMI listing, but the fingerprint and time on the blockchain cannot be deleted. Please don't put personal or confidential information in your title or passage.

6. The DEMI Capsule plugin for Claude and ChatGPT
The plugin stores no data. Its read-only connection to the DEMI Registry sends only registry codes, SHA-256 fingerprints and search queries, never your files. It runs inside your AI assistant, under that assistant’s privacy terms.

7. Where data is held
Registry records are held on Cloudflare servers, which may be outside Australia. This website is hosted by Squarespace. We use no analytics or advertising cookies; Squarespace may set only the cookies needed to run the site.

8. How long we keep it
We keep registry records for as long as the Registry operates, because a record's purpose is to stay checkable. We keep email addresses only as long as needed for registration and support.

9. Your choices

UplitAU treats all registrations alike and does not contact registrants about the content of their work.

  • access or correct the personal information we hold about you

  • hide a listed record

10. What a record proves
A record shows only that a file existed, byte for byte, by a certain time. It does not prove authorship, ownership or any legal right.
